Liverpool FC Potential Transfer Targets at Euro 2012

LIVERPOOL maybe in the dark as to who will be in the Anfield managerial hot seat, however, whoever takes charge is sure to strengthen much of the squad.
A goal-scorer in midfield as well as support for Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll seem must-buys and with a reasonable amount of cash to spend you would expect the Reds to be eyeing up a number of European football's hot prospects.
Robert Lewandowski - a Liverpool FC potential transfer target at Euro 2012
Robert Lewandowski (Poland)
BOROUSSIA Dortmund Striker, Lewandowski has been linked with a big-money move to the Reds for sometime.
The Polish frontman has scored 30 times in just 67 games for Dortmund and his natural goal-poaching helped Dortmund win the Bundesliga for the second year in a row.
Priced around £12-15m, he's wanted by a host of clubs including Manchester United, while Dortmund have already sold one striker (Lucas Barrios) this summer, and will be loath to lose another.
Christian Eriksen - a Liverpool FC potential transfer target at Euro 2012
Christian Eriksen (Denmark)
THE 20-year-old graduate of Ajax's youth academy is a highly rated playmaker, who has played an integral role in the Amsterdam club's successive league titles and was the youngest player of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
Priced £15-20million, he wouldn't come to Anfield cheaply, however, Danish team-mate and Reds defender Daniel Agger has heaped praise on his compatriot insisting the midfielder has got what it takes to play at the highest level.
Taling about the youngster this week, Agger said: "Eriksen has the potential to become world-class. He's perhaps a bit too shy, and it wouldn't hurt him to be a bit more dominant and aggressive."
Luuk De Jong - a potential LFC transfer target during Euro 2012
Luuk De Jong (Netherlands)
HIGHLY-RATED de Jong is another attacking threat for the Dutch side and is top of many coaches summer wish lists with Newcastle and Liverpool monitoring his progress.
Rated at £12-15m, the 21-year-old, who already has seven Dutch caps, scored 25 goals for Twente last season and manager Steve McClaren has admitted it will be hard for them to keep him.
Rasmus Elm - a potential LFC transfer target at Euro 2012
Rasmus Elm (Sweden)
PLYING his trade with Dutch Eredivise side AZ Alkmaar, the brother of one-time Fulham player David, has been dogged by injuries in recent years.
However, in the past season he has been lauded by fans and press alike, and Euro 2012 might be the former Sweden U19 captain’s chance to shine on the international stage.
Commanding a price tag of £7-10 million he is a gamble but for a midfield which scores few goals, he would be a fine addition at Anfield.
